Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 Online
A private EA Nation server for the PS2 game, played in PCSX2.
Lobby onlineWhat you need
| Emulator | PCSX2 2.x (tested with 2.8) |
| Game | Your own dump of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004, USA release:
serial SLUS-20757, CRC 64F9781E. PCSX2 shows both in its game list.
Other regions will not work. |
| BIOS | A PS2 BIOS dumped from your own console |
| Network | Any internet connection that allows outgoing UDP. No port forwarding needed. |
No game, BIOS or disc images are provided here.
1. Create an account
Do not use a real password. Use one you have never used
anywhere else. The game sends it to the server over an unencrypted connection, scrambled with a
publicly known key, so anyone who can see the traffic, including the server operator, could
recover it. The server stores only a hash, but treat this password as public.
You can add more personas later from the console.
2. Install the patch
The patch points the game at this server and skips the dead DNAS check. It only changes memory while the game runs; your disc image is untouched.
Download SLUS-20757_64F9781E.pnach- Put the file in PCSX2's cheats folder. Settings → Folders shows
where it is. Usually that is
Documents\PCSX2\cheatson Windows,~/.config/PCSX2/cheatson Linux and~/Library/Application Support/PCSX2/cheatson macOS. Keep the filename exactly as downloaded: PCSX2 matches it to the game by serial and CRC. - If you had another TW04 online patch, delete it so only this one is in the folder.
- Right-click the game in PCSX2's list → Properties → Cheats and tick Enable Cheats.
3. Turn on networking
In the same game Properties window (or Settings → Network & HDD for every game), set:
| Enable Network Adapter | On |
| Ethernet Device Type | Sockets |
| Ethernet Device | Auto |
| Intercept DHCP | On, with subnet mask and gateway on Auto |
| DNS1 and DNS2 | Internal |
4. Sign in
- Fully boot the game. Do not load a save state: the patch is applied at boot.
- Choose ONLINE from the main menu.
- First time only: the game asks for a network configuration on the memory card and offers to create one. Accept the default settings and save them.
- Wait for the DNAS check. It can take about 20 seconds; that is normal, so leave it running. Then enter your username and password from step 1.
- Pick your persona, and you are in the lobby.
Head-to-head matches run through this server's relay, so neither player needs to open a port, and opponents don't see each other's IP address.
If it won't connect
- Lobby offline at the top of this page means the server is down; nothing will connect until it is back.
- DNAS normally takes around 20 seconds. Still stuck after a minute, or a connection error: check that Enable Cheats is ticked, the file keeps its exact name, and you booted fresh rather than from a save state.
- Your game must be serial
SLUS-20757with CRC64F9781E; any other release silently ignores the patch. - Wrong password: names and passwords are case-sensitive. There is no password reset; ask the person who invited you.
- In the lobby but matches never start: your network may block outgoing UDP (some school, work and public Wi-Fi networks do).
